Agreement between the Government of India and the Government of Hongkong regarding direct supplies
of opium from India.
1.
The Government of Hongkong agrees to take the whole
or substantially the whole of its requirements from India.

Agreement to come into force on 1st January, 1921. Agreement to be in force for five years.

Agreement may be terminated by giving two years'
notice.
5.
Price Rs.4,000 (four thousand) per chest.
6.
The Government of Hongkong is under no obligation
to take a minimum quantity of raw opium.
7. The requirements for any year to be intimated by the Government of Hongkong before the 15th September in the preceding year.
8. ▲ fixed amount to be supplied month by month, six months' notice being given of any increase or decrease.
9. The Government of Hongkong to intimate to the Government of India the cause of any variation in quantity taken.
10.
Details arising out of the agreement to be settled between the Government of India and the Government of Hongkong.
11.
If direct sales are made by the Government of India to other Governments at a price below Rs.4,000 a corresponding reduction is to be made in the price charged to the Hongkong Government with effect from the date on which the lower price comes into operation.
